Looking for new card shuffling techniques |

Hi, I just started recently playing Texas Holdem poker and love it. One of my favorite parts of playing is dealing, but I am having difficulty finding new shuffling methods.
The current one I use is fine for "friendly" play, but it allows other players to cheat. The shuffling method I use is:
I split the deck in two and I hold the two halfs horziontally with my thumb on the ends, index on the back of the card, middle/ring on the opposite side of the thumb. It looks like:

hope it comes out correctly the ### is the card and all the @ are my fingers. This view is looking directly on top of the card, left hand.
I pick up the edges with my thumbs and I use my index to hold down the second half. I use my middle and ring to make sure that the cards don't go flying off from the pressure applied by my thumb. I then use my thumbs to riffle the two halfs together. Generally I like to riffle at the upper right corner.
The problem with this is that right after I split the decks I pick up the two halfs with the same hand position above except that I put my index finger on top like:

This view is looking at the deck as if you are on the floor looking straight so the bottom is exposed for the players to see. I do this because its a very bad habit, and it also allows me to easily square all the cards.
The second problem is right after I riffle I move the two halves half way into each other hold the ends in my palm, hold the top with my thumbs and bend the cards upwards so that they fall from the pressure into the perfect deck size. After I tap it on the table using the same hand layout as above to square it again exposing the bottom card. I will try to draw it

The # cards are bent and the two lines are my palm/hand and the two @ are my thumbs, I push closer with my palms forcing the cards down and fully combining the two halves in my palm.
After I do a overhand shuffle.
So far this has worked fine, but as you can see constantly showing the bottom cards will not work well in the future as my friends get more knowledgeable about various "cheating" methods
Currently I am trying to learn the shuffle used in the movie croupier. This shuffling method you split the halves in two, oddly I don't have a problem with exposing the bottom when using this method. The thumb goes on the bottom edge, index on the back of the cards, middle and ring on top and pinky on the left edge:

This is the left hand looking straight down. You pick up the half by lifting the edge with the thumb and holding the top down with the index then riffling the two decks together where the $ is. Then you push the deck together to make an X, then use your middle,ring, and thumb to square it. I think this is how the method works, please correct me if I am wrong. I like this method, but it hurts my hand and also I currently can't do it properly because I am having problems keeping the cards square, which is probably why my hands hurt.
I am wondering if you guys can offer me a couple more different shuffling methods that don't expose the cards as my first method does. Also I am looking for shuffling methods that are cool and fun.

Well I didn't really read the whole post because I couldn't follow it. It's hard to hide the bottom card when you shuffle so just cut the deck a few times after you finish.
