I have a group of friends and we usually play 1-2 times a week. Not very high stakes. We usually play those crazy wild card games with a $5 buy-in. Every once in a while we play a NL hold-em tournament with a 5$ buy-in with 1 re-buys.
What we want to do is start playing limit hold-em non tournament syle. We want to keep the buy-in at $5 and do not want to use pennies. We were thinking of 10-20 limit.
Is this limit too high for a $5 dollar buy-in?
What are your suggestions?

Sounds OK to me. We used to play spread limit with a $10 buy in. Small blind was $.25, big $.5. Big bet was usually $1-3 depending on what everyone felt like. I would say $.10, $.20 is fine for a $5 buy in.
