So I'm playing in a $25 buy in tournament with 7 total players. 2nd hand of the game I get pocket 2's in the first position. Blinds are 2/4, everyone gets 100 chips. So I raise to 12, hoping to make a play. Get 2 callers, one in 2nd position, one in big blind. flop comes Q 7 4 rainbow. Big blind bets 12 right off the bat. He is the tighest player ever, and will only bet with cards, so I put him on Ace Queen and drop my pair. Other player calls. Turn is a 2. I am not happy, but I played the odds correctly so I'm not mad. First position bets 20, call from the other guy. River 2. Ohhhhhhh man. First position bets 20 again, and gets a call. Turns out first position had QQ, other guy had 4 4. First of all, I don't know how the other guy didn't raise with a full house and lose all his chips, cause I definitely would have. He is just an idiot. 2nd of all, I was kind of happy I didn't stay in. the first position guy is like my only real good friend at the table, and he has the worst luck ever. every week he is all in with the better cards and always gets rivered, it's unbelievable. if i stayed in and caught that card, he might have shot me. haha but unbelievable hand, or is it?

forum protip: a long post with no paragraph breaks is very difficult to read and will be ignored rather than read by most people.

1st off, don't ever feel bad for anyone at the table. Even if somehow they lost one of their legs and couldn't afford a good prosthetic leg (you know a fancy one with a foot and all) and they were stuck with one of those lincoln log legs.. and the only way they could afford the new leg was by winning that hand.. don't feel bad, theres other ways to obtain money.
Also, the other guy at the table probably noticed that the guy with queens was a tight player.. So even though he had a set of 4's, with 2 overcards on the board and the tight player playing aggressively- I'm sure he was a bit worried with his bottom set.
You made the right decision by getting out.. EVEN on the turn you had a worse hand than both of them.. So it was a good idea to get out of that.
Never feel bad for the guy with the lincoln log leg though.. never.
