What a disappointing hand |

I was playing 2/4 HE at Commerce on Sunday, and I got dealt AJo in the BB. Three people call, then the SB completes the bet, and I just check, since I'm always a little wary of AJ. So the flop comes AAJ. I've got the nuts so I'm hoping someone else has the fourth A and plays this one hard. SB checks, I check, and one of the other callers bets. SB calls, I call, and everyone else folds.
Turn is a low card, a 4 I think. SB bets, I raise, the other player calls. SB reraises, then I reraise, and the other guy kept calling until he was all in. It's capped.
River is Ts. SB bets, I raise, he reraises, I reraise, and we keep going until he's out of chips (since we were heads up they didn't cap the betting). So he turns over AJo and we split. It was so disappointing. There was over $200 in that pot and I figured that I'd take it all or maybe if the board paired again I'd win a jackpot. But we ended up winning like $10 each of that other guy's money, who called our raises with KJo.
