Watching the final tables of wsop as i write this, thought i'd give some thoughts on the players going out, back in may they were just names on a website update next to a chipstack, but having spent the last few weeks watching them .......
John Murphy: was a shame to see him go, he was a nice young guy and played some great poker, i am sure we will see more of him. was also nice to see Raymer consoling him.
Marcel Luske: I have previously made comments against this guy, i take them back unreservedly now. This guy has given me a lot of entertainment over the last few weeks and it was with a lump in my throat that i watched him go out in 10th spot dank je weel marcel
Mattias Andersen: I can't believe i am actually gonna miss "the screaming swede" his antics, altho ear-splittingly annoying, were at least entertaining. ironicly enough, when he lost it, he was silent? go figure
Matt Dean: From 2nd to out in 7th, i dunno he just seemed to give up after his loss to Arieh, i guess he wasn't getting the cards and decided to push it
Al Krux:another nice guy, solid enough player, picked his spot and went for it, fair enough.
Glen Hughes:Just shows, shouting at the cards doesn't help still a million bix is nice
The Nuts Mike Matusow: (again)
Dan Harrington!:All in on a stone cold bluff!! He had luck, he bluffed, he truly was "Action Dan" :D
Josh Arieh: YES!!!! thank god!! what a poor excuse for a human being this guy is! He wrote an apology after his comments earlier, well Josh we're waiting on your newest apology, maybe now you realise that yes, you are actually like that!
David Williams:Great to see the short stack at 10 players make it all the way to heads up, shows the importance of making it to final table any way you can! after that you do what you can.
Greg raymer:wow wow wow, what can you say, incredibly nice guy all the way thru this tourney, yes he came from behind a lot to win hands, but he had the chips and most times he had overcards to do it with, he used his stack well, didn't exactly suck out on anyone, if you go all in against this guy, make sure you got a BIG advantage! well played man you totally deserved this title. How great must it feel to sit back in that chair, raise your arms and roar in victory! wow!
God i want that!
