Okay, here's a question that I've been dying to ask but up until now, had never found the right forum to ask it in.
Mike walks into Teddy KGB's joint with $10k. He plays Teddy straight up and wins his $10k. So he has $20k. Teddy reminds him as he's leaving the table that he's still up $20k from when he screwed Mike out of $30k. So he pony's up again; straight up, freeze out.
In theory, shouldn't this mean that when he flops the nut straight and beats KGB, he should have $40k?
Mike says:
"Turned my ten grand into just over sixty. Paid fifteen to Grama, six went back to the Chesterfield. As for Worm, well, I figure we're even. And after the ten going back to the professor, I'm back where I started; With three stacks of high society."

Right before they play again after KGB tries to "own" him......Mike McDee says: "Feel free to RELOAD at any time..."
KGB then says: "yeah..(shrugs)...Table stakes."
So it is implied that KGB came in again....and that is why Mike McDee says: "I can go on busting you up all night...."
It is implied that Mike really tore up KGB.

Haha, that one boggled me for a long time. Then one night I was watching it for like the 15th time and it just hit me.
