Worst beat I ever had was playing heads up against a buddy of mine. The whole game he was complaining about this girl trouble he having and at the same time he was slowly stealing my stack by beating me with Queens all friggin game; if I had trip jacks he had trip queens, straight to the jack, he had straight to the queen, two pair split pot, he'd have a queen kicker...you get the idea. Anyways, I was on my last rung with about a quarter of my chips left holding A/9 suited. Before the flop he bets and I call a large sum. The flop comes Q/A/9 rainbow. I'm sick of my chips being leached away so after he checks I go all in really hoping he'll call thinking I'm desperate (which I am, but with a good hand none the less). He calls and flips over pocket Queens! All freakin' game with frickin Queens, and the frickin girl trouble, jesus I was livid! Next card comes down a 9! YES, I beat karma, and now I've got a chance to stuff those Queens up his ass!!...River...QUEEN, AAARRRRGGGG!!!! I swear, I thought I was out of mind at that point. Still makes me shiver thinking about it...

You were losing even at the turn surely....if the flop was A Q 9, 9 on turn and he had QQ he had you Qs over 9s, he didnt need the river to beat you

I had a guy do that to me one night with Kings. If he had a king in his hand one always came on the board (and usually one of whatever card he was holding with his kings). One hand I was holding QQ. Flop was Q 9 7 rainbow. I went all-in and he called with K 9. He caught runner-runner kings for the boat. I called him King for quite some time after that (something tells me that he wasn't upset by this ). Now, if I'm heads-up against him and a king comes on the flop I'm folding unless I'm holding two of them.
