ive seen this floating around ebay for between 50-100 bucks. (fairly cheap although im 99% sure they are burned) it sounds awesome nevertheless, to see all the classic world series battles which, as far as i know, cant be seen anywhere else. (i havent seen them even for download anywhere). has anyone bought these? are they any good?

Yeah, but watching the WSOP before they had the lipstick cams was really boring.

No kidding. The '95 World Series (Dan Harrington wins it) was on ESPN Classic last night. Dick Van Patten of all people was doing the broadcast, and any time a flop came with nothing over a 10, he always said "That didn't help anyone."

I actually bought a set of these dvds off of ebay... I was very dissapointed... The first dvd I put in was the first disc from 2003... It actually played up to the menu then it wouldn't let me go any further... Then I put in the '71 (I think) and that actually played.. .for 5 minutes before it froze and actually froze my dvd player... Eventually I found a couple that worked but even if they did they were poor quality... Looks like someone just recorded them on to VHS when it was on tv... and even for VHS its bad quality... All in all I was very disappointed and consider it a waste of money... Plus the dvds don't come in a case or anything they come in paper sheeths (sp)... And they are hand written w/ the year on them... In my opinion stay away from these dvds wait for ESPN or Harrahs to release someting officially...

Ive seen those also and It would be interesting to watch them. Even without the hole cards. They are burned and i dont know if the quality is worth it. Plus its probably possible to find most of them somewhere for download.
