I may have seen it but don't know for sure. I just wanted to post that the older WSOPs that I've seen did not show hole cards and had Gabe Kaplan (of "Welcome Back Kotter" fame) as the host. Kaplan is/was an avid poker player and played in WSOP more than once I think. It may seem a little tame and boring compared to todays WSOP coverage. Kaplan is a bit 'deadpan'.

i watched this ,and i didnt really enjoy it. its amazing how the face of poker has changed, cuz in 93 for the most part those involved seemed like old fat hicks Sad (nothing against old fat hicks, but it didnt make for good tv) . not seeing the hole cards was quite annoying, (how come in rounders when mike is watching the 87 it shows the hole cards..odd), but it kinda did make you think more of each player's strategy as they played , and kind of predict on your own what they may have which was neat.

another odd thing i noticed was that one of the hosts was vince van patten, which if im not mistaken, is of WPT fame. however he looked completely different (a portley fellow to say the least) which again i found quite odd. anyone else see it?
