Saturday I entered my first(no freeroll) MTT for a buy in of $5. I made my first final table and cashed about $12, not a great finish but it gave me the confidence I needed to enter a $10+$1 MTT on Sunday. There was a total of 96 entrants for a prizepool of $960, no rebuys.
Starting chips were 1000 and I had taken down a few small pots early and had a little over 1200 in chips when I get dealt AA :D I'm on the button which is even better, most of the table calls down to me and I raise it to 400. This early, I'd just as soon scoop the table right here but one guy calls my bet. Flop comes junk so I go all in. He calls and shows KJ diamonds, turn brings the Ace of diamonds, giving me my set but now there are 2 dimaonds out. I'm sure at this point I don't need to tell you the river made his flush. So now still in round 1 I'm down to just over 200 in chips. I kept my mouth shut but the rest of the table took care of the verbal abuse for me.
About ten minutes later I get dealt KK and just push all in, a couple people call, including the guy with all my chips and I triple up with my Kings. Thats the hand that saved me from busting out, I love Kings :D
About two hours later, I made another final table. At this point after the beating I took, I'm just happy to get my money back. I work my way up to second in chips and it's down to five people. The chip leader has been raising most pots and [retty much just bullying people off the blinds so when I get dealt JJ I bet 1/3 of my stack. He's next to act and riases it, folds back to me so I go all in. He calls and flips over Queens! Ugh, to make it worse he hits a set on the flop and I'm out in fifth.
I wasn't upset though, I made $96, had back to back final tables, and came back from a huge loss early. Overall, it was a great poker weekend :D

doesn't it suck when you're going up against a jerkoff who's been bullying virtually every pot... and FINALLY you get a good hand and push back only to find that he just happens to have a decent hand this time.
lol
i find it happens to me quite freqently.

Yeah it kind of sucked but I thought about that hand for a long time and with many beers Sunday night. If the situation came up again, I'd do the same thing.
