They had exactly what i wanted, i just checked the odds on cardplayer.com and i am more than 3.5/1 favourite over next best hand, of course the A comes on the flop (as per f*cking usual) and everything changes.
I could not hope to be a bigger favourite preflop and i got all my money in and still get overturned!
Sorry but i am so not happy with this.
what more can you do?
This is a worse beat than last night, altho not as upsetting.
I had KK on the button about 20 places from the money in a MTT small raise from middle position, i go over the top there and then putting him all in, he calls with Af*cking5 sooted and catches 6789 for the straight, i'm crippled tourneywise and go out a few hands later.
at least in that hand i was only a 3/1 favourite tho.
ok thats that out of my system.

If it makes you feel any better I have had AK cracked by A9 (he had what I wanted), AQ cracked by Q9 (and him) and A9 cracked by A8 (him too)
all within the last hour.

It makes me feel better that you read my bad beat story, and moreover can empathise.
I'm not happy about your beats, but misery does love company.

don't you know that when you hold KK the chance of an ace flopping increases by 80%

81.6% to be exact, but I won't bore you with the math...

When you have KK and your opponants hold an A each there are only 2 A's left from a possible 46 cards thats 23/1 or something like 4.5% chance of an A coming on any of the 5 spots on the board
Of course, that's theoreticall, in reality if you hold KK an A will come 100% of the time, even if you are in a 5 way pot and your 4 opps hold an A each!

That's nothing! I went all in pre-flop with a pair of kings the other night - and was called by QJ suited. He hit J J on the turn and river! The devil....
