Anyone playing/already played in the qualifiers for the £3000 main event at the Grosvenor Vic in London?
going down next weekend to play the Phase 1 qualifier on Oct 2nd, and hopefully the Phase 2 the next day.
first time playing NL at a casino (all the local tourneys are PL) - wish me luck :D
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Is this the one from 9-10th october?
If it's the same one, part of the EPT, then pokerstars are strting their satellites to it today so i'm gonna be entering a few of those.
Good luck with your sats. and let us know if you make it (like your gonna keep quiet about that )

aye, it's the one on the 9th/10th.
any idea when the Stars satellites run up until? (if i don't make it through at the bricks+mortar sats, might have a go at the online ones if there's any left - although i generally suck at poker online for some reason )

The round 2 satellite, $615+$35 is oct 2nd, i don't think they'll be able to squeeze in another satellite before then, there are round 1 satellites, ($3 w/rebuy, $27 w/rebuy and $80 freezeout) running thru the day until then.
Check the EPT/WCUP tab on pokerstars for times.
Pokerstars is sponsoring the EPT and i think they will have satellites to all the remaining EPT events as well as the EPT monte carlo final (these are also running now.)
