Card Flip/ Flush play

I have 2 questions.

1st is during the deal if a card is fliped face up do you muck all the cards or do you have the person who had there card fliped decide to play it out?

And with Flushes do they just go as Ace High flush or do you go down so if 1 person has Ace high flush with a 10 and another person has Ace high with a queen would the queen win?

second question first: if 2 players have a flush then it is determined by, the higherst card, then the second card then the third, down to the 5th card .
So if i have AK972 all hearts and you have AK962 all hearts i win because my fourth card is higher. This is true even if the board is all hearts, if i have a higher heart in my hand than you do, or than is on the board, then i win.

Your first question, i'm sure there is someone better than me to answer this for you.

Normally if a card is exposed (I assume you mean during the deal), that card becomes the 1st burn card. The player is given the next card after all remaining cards are dealt (which would have been the burn card before the flop).

This is the way my local casino does it anyway. Also, if only a small amount of cards have been dealt (like 4-5 I think, number is set, I just dont know what it is) the entire hand is a misdeal.

Not 100% sure, but I believe the answer is neither. The dealer announces to the table that card is exposed and deals the player another card.

I don't believe the player gets an option; seems like we've had a posts in the past about people getting their pairs broekn up in this way.

I think the exposed card becomes the burn.

To your first question

If the first holecard dealt is exposed, a misdeal results. The dealer will retrieve the card, reshuffle, and recut the cards. If any other holecard is exposed due to a dealer error, the deal continues. The exposed card may not be kept. After completing the hand, the dealer replaces the card with the top card on the deck, and the exposed card is then used for the burncard. If more than one holecard is exposed, this is a misdeal and there must be a redeal.
