Bad two hours to top a bad month. |

My low-limit game has hit bottom over the past month. So much so that I decided to step back to play money in order to determine what I'm doing wrong.
In a two hour period today, playing low-fixed limit play money, I played a total of about 6 hands. JTo from late, which was stomped quickly by the flop. K4s from the small blind also stomped by the flop.
And then, the other 4 were AA.
Every single AA was beat, by, for example, someone who played 45o in early position after several preflop raises and flopped two pair. Or, J2o who hit two pair on the turn. Man alive.
I tell ya, it's a frustrating thing to go from "hey, play all those hands you want -- you're just giving me your money" a month ago to watching those hands win time after time. Sure, they'll lose in the long run, but in the meantime, boy, it's a bit rough.
