Vegas Tournament Questions?

Posted Wed Oct 15, 2003 11:42 am GMT by Risky_j
I have read some previous post that many of you have played in tournaments in Las Vegas. Here are some questions I have about those:

1. What are the starting chips for these tournaments?
2. What is the structure of these tournaments (starting blinds, limit/NL)?
3. Payouts? (top 3, top 5)
4. Are they freezouts or timed tournaments?
5. Buy-in, Rebuys, Add-ons?

If you have any answers to any of these questions, please reply!

Thanks!

Tournaments come in all shapes and sizes, and in Vegas you'll find every kind. The best thing you can do is call the poker rooms you're interested in playing in and ask them about their various tournaments. The big ones :Bellagio, Mirage, Horseshoe, etc. have a ton of tournaments. I'm sure you'll find one that's right for you. Personally, I like the freeze outs NL tourneys that start with a lot of chips.
