Three in a row!

Posted Wed Oct 06, 2004 12:53 pm GMT by ShedEnd
Playing .25-.50 NL earlier today and suffered these 3 in a row, all to the same person!

First hand:

2c 2d, I raise to $3 on the button, 1 caller. Flop comes and I hit my set (2h 7s 8c) I bet out $3 more and get called, I figure he's holding on stubbornly to his overcards, which is great news for me.

Turn comes Js, I raise it $5, he calls cold. Hmmm...

River comes 3s, I raise it $5 again, he re-raises to $10, I call.

As4s for the runner runner flush Sad

Second hand:

Ad Qd, I raise it $4 trying to entice people into thinking I'm tilting and calling, 4 callers.

Flop: Ah Jd 7s

I raise it, and get two callers. Turn comes a 3c, I raise it again, 1 folds and the same person from the last hand calls.

River: 4c. Raised the got re-raised.

You guessed it? No, I didn't think so.

2d 5d for the wheel straight. Sad Sad

With much of my original buy and previous profit in lost in two pots, I'm dealt QdQh next. I have $20 and raise it $5, 1 caller - guess who?

Flop: 5 3 T, he checks and I bet out another $5. He flat calls again.

Turn: 4 He checks it and I raise to $10 and all in. Call. Hmmm....

River was insignificant, as he had stayed in with 76o for the straight, But just to add insult to injury, it was Qh.

Sad Sad Sad

Time to take a break for a bit I think, I've noted down his username though Wink
