Ok so u made the 'right' call by putting him on a bluff but I would never have called all-in on QJs unless I 100% knew the opponent's play. U don't say whether u'd played with him before so it's impossible to tell whether this was true so although it is a tough break given his cards, I think u made the wrong play personally.

I am sorry you took that beat but I've seen MUCH worse. If that really angers you, I'm sure the first time your Aces get beaten by 32o you will get really ticked...

in a play no limit table on UB i had pocket cowboys go down to 3-7 off suit, and NOT with a straight.

guys cmon, get a grip. if you're putting it all in before the flop with suited connectors you are NEVER more than a 7-3 favorite. youre just asking to get outdrawn.

the qj suited had about a 32% chance of losing to the 23o! you call that an "outstanding tough beat"????

a bad beat is when you go all in with a 95% chance of winning and still lose. i cant believe you'd complain about losing a 2-1 shot.

one thing i cant believe about holdem players is how often people expect the best hand to win. before the flop, good hands are only marginally better than rags! get a computer program and start looking at odds preflop and you'll see what i mean.

ps, raising 7 dollars of your 24 with qj suited in a tournament style game is CRAZY unless the blinds were going to eat you up very soon (which i assume they werent). your home game must be insanely fast if you can win making plays like that. the guys bluff was an even worse play, but your call was horrible. id love to play in your tournaments if qj suited is a hand to call allin with.

Let me explaine. It was getting late into the torney, i only had about 17 in chips,it was down to 3 people out of the orignal 9,and i was shortstacked, and to add to that it was a winner take all trney. Sad
