Rumor has it that a new batch of chips from asia are being produced to appeal to the middle of the market that is now being neglected. There are high-end chips and low-end chips and little in-between.
I stumbled on these:

Anyone know anything about them? Is it perhaps the first of the chips mentioned above?

Interesting.
I dont' much like the "look" of them, but if they are able to produce a decent 500 pc set, I wonder if other companies will be forced to lower their prices at all. Unlikely, I know - but I can dream, can't I?

looks like someone bought these and packaged them. I have a sample, they feel decent, not nearly as good as pokerchips.com
but if you're wanting a mid-level chip, they're definitely nicer than the standard 11.5 gram metal insert crap

These are really awesome chips. If you dont mind the bland look, the feel of these chips are great. Call thepokerchipcompany and have them send u out some free samples. Im sure you will like them, Especially for the price.

anyone know if there's any plans to produce a nexgen WITHOUT any goofy imprinted "Las Vegas" or crown or dice or whatever it is that's the options right now?
everyone raves about the chip... so i'm interested... but i don't like any of those imprints. i'd prefer a plane chip to what's offered now. the colors and edgespots are fine... it's the stupid imprinted stuff that bothers me.
