I am new to sight but needed to tell somebody about this bad beat.
I was playing in $20 + 2 tourney on UB, about 140 players in a " 6 seated" tourney. Top 12 were for the money. I was short stacked and trying to hold out before the blinds caught up to me. It was down to 17 players.
I finally got a hand... AKo. I went all in preflop and had one caller. He showed A2o. But the 2 was a diamond. The flop ... 3 rag diamonds. The turn another rag diamond. I was shocked because i thought that Ak was the start of a great comeback.

Man I've been stung numerous times with a stronger starting hand than my opponent... I was lately on pokerstars late in a $3 tournament and very shortstacked (I recall having about 4 times the big blind is all) and I drew AA and went all in before the flop. My one caller caller came in with K 9 offsuit. The flop came with 2 Kings and I was eliminated. I was stunned.
All I can say is that's poker.
