Anyway it's Saturday mourning and I am awake way to early ... for me !
I thought I'd re-hash a session that happened about 4 years and made me quit playing Hold Em for about six months and go back to playing ... dare I say 7 Stud.
Situation Live 15-30 Limit Game at the Trop in AC. I do not remember my table position any longer on these hands but needless to say I was in postion on many of them. One rotation around a full table I am dealt AA, AA. AA. AK (flop K), 88 (flop Set), JJ (flop set), A8 (flop top 2)... I do not even remember the other hands but needless to say I played 10 hands in a row and did not drag one pot. Finally STEAMING I cap on hand number 11 on the button with 92 of hearts and flop a flush get paid off rack and cash stuck $1700 in a one hour sesion.
Anyway I am back to hold em and rarely ever play stud (thank God) other than dealer call home games, talk about a game that will bore you to tears.
On the other hand I rarely play Limit Hold Em any longer since the on slaught of TV poker everyone thinks there a Poker Player and I for one do my best to let them keep thinking that way. I Bartend 4 nights a week and I had a guy show up at 2:00 AM on Wed. with a pocket full of cash. He tells me he's there to win my evenings tips. I close the bar about 20 minutes later and we play. Heads up 2 hours later I am plus $500 and still got all my tips. Hmmmm, that Hold Em on TV brings them out of the closet. I had not seen this guy in years but he remebered I was Poker player and was looking for some action. I hope he stops in again this Wed.
