raising rule revisited

sorry to bring up this subject again but i'm just not certain that i get it.
can some kind soul please answer the following questions?

scenario 1.
two players in the pot (after the flop). the minimum bet is 50.

player A has 500 chips
player B has 800 chips

player A acts first and bets 100.

Question 1. He can do this by either putting 100 in chips into the pot, or he can annouce it. If he announces it, what does he say: bet 100 or raise 100 ?

Question 2.
player B, who is next to act, wants to put 300 chips in the pot (so that player A has to put 200 more in to call). How does she announce it, (raise 300 which is what she's putting in or, or raise 200 which is the size of the additional chips required by A to call) ?

scenario 2.
four players in the pot (after the flop). the minimum bet is 50.

player A has 100 chips
player B has 400 chips
player C has 2500 chips
player D has 5000 chips

player A acts first puts 100 chips in the pot.
player B puts 400 chips in the pot. (all in)
player C now wants to raise the minimum, how does he announce it ?
how many chips does he put in the pot?

thanks for any help

Question 1) Since Player A is first to act after the flop, it's a bet, not a raise even though it's more than the minimum bet.

Question 2) I usually just say "raise" then match the bet in the pot already. Then I count out my raise and say "200 more". It works pretty good, just make sure people hear you say "raise" or they'll say your trying to string bet.

Scenario 2) Not 100% sure on this one but I think the minimum raise here is 300. Player A bet 100, then Player B raised to 400(a 300 chip raise). Any raise must be equal to the previous bet or raise so Player C only has to raise 300. So he can do the same as in Question 2, state the raise, then say "300 more".
