I was thinking about ordering another set of poker chips and decided to order 20 James Bond chips to see how I liked them. I loved the look and feel but about 10 out of the 20 chips had pretty easily recognizable blemishes, mainly on the edge spots. I was just curious If anybody owns a set and if so do most of the chips in the set have some visual flaws, or did someone probably just send me some crappy samples.

Most of the Blue Chip chips are like that. They often have the inlays offcenter. The Modern clays by Buypokerchips.com and Nevada Jack Clays are like that too since they are made by Blue Chip.
Even the chips that they make for the casinos lack quality control.
But on the bright side they have some awesome edge spotting!

Yeah I've got 1500 "James Bond" Chips and a few of them have little nicks and scuffs, stuff like that... but doesn't bother me one bit, I love these chips!! So does everyone else in my game.

I also own a set of James Bond chips (Blue Chip Co.). They are OK but I'd rather have a set of the original Paulson chips. I only have about 60 of the Paulson chips and they are far and away the nicest chips on the market, and most expendsive as Paulson no longer sells to the public and demand is high. The Blue Chip version has lots of imperfections, but make no mistake, I get lots of compliments at every game I go to!

Would be nice if the Blue Chip Co. made their chips a little heavier. My set is very light...about 8.3g per chip.

Blue Chip only makes the heavier chips for thier casinos!
I just got some Paulson Isthmus chips in for my site!, I love the classic look of the Paulson chips, but they dont really compare in quality compared to the Vineyards since Chip makers take more time and effort to produce Casino chips!
Dice also has some nice chips that were from the Horseshoe Casino that are real casino chips.

I remember a few years ago when I had trouble getting people together for a poker night, but now I can find 10 people every night of the week. Although I've always played poker, this growing popularity of poker has caused me to once again become obsessed with chips and tables, which is expensive!
Thanks for all of the input everyone, and the discount code. Out of the samples I have received (PokerChips.com, James Bond's, PokerChipCompany.com, and Chipco.com) it is between the Bond's and the PokerChips.com clays. I also wish the Bond chips were a little heavier, but I love the looks. I also want to order some Nevada Jacks Clays to play around with as well as some Martini Club chips. What the heck, might as well order some of each avaible chip to add to the stack.
Thanks again for the info.
