Knife. Be careful not to damage the surface of the chip.

The pimples dont bother me since they are in the grove, and it seems that it lookds the same before and after...... and I dont know if you want to do this to ALL 500-1000 chips!

you could try a soldeing iron. So as to melt it where you wouldn't get the white spot.

how do you guys like these faux clay chips. i heard some mixed review. i bought one from 5stardeals off ebay. i heard they dont have a metal insert on www.pokerchipreviews.com but i emailed 5stardeal and they said they had an insert.
thank you

The 10 gram chips that are reviewed on my site DO NOT have an insert. (I've broken 3 in half). I received them from WeDoItAllVegas.com. These chips are fantastic, considering their price.

Maybe 5Star's 10 grammers are different chips. I've emailed them twice for samples, but no response.

Cheers,
John

I received 10 samples of these chips from 5StarDeal. They DO NOT have a metal insert. I know this as fact because I broke one chip into 3 pieces.

They are a good deal for the money (10 cents). They feel much better than a typical 11.5 gram composite and a little better than a diamond chip. They do not have the metallic ring of a metal insert chip but they do not have a traditional clay sound either. They sound half-way between a diamond chip and a metal insert composite. A stack of 10 is the exact same heght as a stack of 11.5 gram composites.

The injection mold is big and very noticeable on my red chips, about the same as most diamond chips.

I'm interested in buying these chips as well, so any thoughts on these chips are greatly appreciated.
