Hey, after searching these forums, and uttering cool about twenty times I have realized that my chips suck and I want new ones.
Currently I have the 500 chip "Clay Composite" chip set from Costco, http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?prodid=11007759&whse=&topnav=&cat=. I despise these chips, and want some new ones, so I have some questions.
After looking around I noticed that a lot of people have this kind of style of chip, ignore the customization, what type of chip is this, where can i buy it, and what price range am i looking at?
(The following are pictures of TenPercenter's custom chips, chips i adore.
Ok, my next question is about the World Poker Tour chips. I am positive these are not the actual chips that are used in the WPT, but... Are these chips clay like the ones TenPercenter has, or are these like my Costco brand, Clay Composite chips?

Ok, my next question is about the Caesar's Palace Chips. Are these chips clay like the ones TenPercenter has, or are these like my Costco brand, Clay Composite chips?
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=3138994
So... As you can tell I REALLY want chips like TenPercenter has, minus the customizations he put on there... What kind of chips are these and where can I get them, for the best price/quality!
Help!
Any advice/comment is appreciated./url

Ten's chips are Chipcos, you can get them custom made any way you like or premade from a variety of "fantasy" casinos. They are more correctly called a ceramic chip rather than clay, which is the old-school style with integral edge spots and so on. We have some of the chip store owners represented here, I'm sure they'll be happy to tell you all about them LOL or you can dig around just a little bit more here and find lots of info.
The more I see Ten's chips the more I like them... I think he did better design work than the Luxor which they seem to be loosely based on.
The other chips you mention I believe are all variations of the 11.5 dice chip, a plastic shell with a varying amount of clay added to the plastic for feel molded around a metal slug. I'd expect them to be very similar to your chips.

FYI, no metal slug in the WPT chips and they appear to be the chips used in the celebrity WPT game (the one in which they take turns dealing - forgetting the name of it at the moment)

tabasco's chips are still .82 cents a piece. They are still finalizing the design to make sure that everything checks out they way they want.

i am going to go ahead and purchase the Nevada Jack Desert Sands ceramic chips. from what ive heard these chips are actually better than Chipcos and much cheaper. only downside is that if u rub hard enough the paint will come off. but who is gonna do that? if i see anyone at my games doing that they will get the quick boot outta here!!
with discount codes u can get these down to 63 cents a chip at 5stardeal. hopefully they will start listing on ebay for these chips cause usually they are 50% cheaper on ebay than on their website.

Cause, are games very all the time from .25cents being the SB, when I am playing with my brothers, to $5 being the SB when playing with my friends...

They're actually more of a ceramic. And yes, there are a few sites including chipco's own site that offer custom artwork.
