I just bought these off of eBay.
I bought two sets (4 decks) with the Alton Belle Casino Back - Double Deck. Factory Sealed WIDE Poker Size - Regular Index.
They were $57 shipped total. I've been looking for the poker size for a while and I think I got a deal.
What yas think

In case you guys were wondering, he is referring to this auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=19085&item=5930495003&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW. I see he is one of two people who have purchased them.
You can't go wrong purchasing from CardsbyKem. They are the sellers I purchased my 5 sets from. Excellent service and prompt shipping.
As for your specific style of cards, I think they look nice. Poker sized, regluar index - the combination most people (except those with glasses) prefer. Nice score, man...

Yeah, that's me. I've been reading about these for a while and that combo seems to be the favorite. I don't think I could play with the smaller bridge size. This guy is a KEM dealer and he has great feedback so I felt good buying them.

BTW, how are your's holding up.
I bought one set for me and the other for my grandpa. He really wants to try these, as do I.

I bought a set of "Old Glory" KEM's and 4 sets of California Club Kem cards. They have all held up very well over the course of 8 or so tourney's.
I've opened the OG's and 2 sets of the California Clubs. The OG's are holding up very well. My California's seem to be easier to crease or bend. 3 cards out of a deck look as if they were pinched while picking them up off of my Racetrack table (Grr, wish I had made the wood surface only 4" instead of 7"). And a 4th card seemed to have a thumbnail pressed into it distorting the middle club on the 5 of clubs. I've since had to open up another set. So I have a set with 4 cards missing to replace within the other 3 sets. Upon inquiring about replacements for them, of course they aren't to be had. So there are new rules when playing with my KEMs. One being they cannot remove the cards from the felt at any time. Thank goodness I've only made one racetrack and the other a traditional fully felted table.
Advice? Keep them within their box when not in use. I've not really had to clean my cards yet as I do not allow food near my tables. No spillage of drinks here yet either.
I think you and your grandpa will both be very pleased with them. I know we are here.
I didn't notice when you purchased your cards, but if you've already made payment (this weekend), then I would expect you should have your cards this week (I'll betcha by Thursday)... They are a great KEM card supplier and eBay'er.
Enjoy...

Anybody know where i can get a set of Euro kems? I liek the idea of having numbers and letters on all four corners kinda looks cool. And im getting ready to get a few more sets.

i bought the alton belle's recently from CardsByKem (reg index wide poker). I really have nothing bad to say. The cards are exactly what i wanted, and they sent em to me in like 3 days.
So far the cards are amazing. Have about 4 games in them and not a nick, bend or fold in them. I predict these cards will be around for years unless someone accidentally sits on one of them. Otherwise they reallly do stand the test of time.
hightly recommended especially the ebay seller cardsbykem.
