god damnit do you ever take a beat so bad you punch a wall. this got me so pissed off... 10+1 pokerstars tourney 1300 people, down to final 280 or so I'm 3rd or 4th in chips at 20k and leader is at same table with 24k.
pick up kings in mid position and make it 2400 to go (200 400 blinds) and chipleader calls from sb, flop comes K 6 4 rainbow. he checks, i bet 5k, he raises allin, i call of course... A6 spades.... runner runner spades. my stomach started hurting then i punched my stupid wall. i really hate pokerstars when this shit happens.

thats part of the game... i just saw on poker superstars tonight.. chip reese was eliminated even though he flopped a set of tens.. (highest card on the flop). howard lederrer had ace ten and went all in.. chip of course called knowing he was in the lead. lederrer catches running hearts and wins with a flush & reese is eliminated... this was in real life to a real professional.. shit happens.

also, i didn't mean that as a personal attack.. it was a bad beat as you stated, but you said you hate when pokerstars does that.. i just wanted to show that it can happen to anyone anywhere.

yea yea "it's poker". just gettin tired of people making stupid decisions and getting rewarded bigtime. the worst part - or the best if i wanted a bit of revenge, was that put him @ about 45k - well in the chiplead w/ 280 or so left, and i checked back this morning on the results, he finished 144th - 9 out of the money. way to use those chips. seesh.
