in a very recent no limit hold em game, an argument arose about an all in bet. the chip leader offered the 2nd place chip person all in. he accepted, the betting then went to the bottom chip person, who also went all in. does the all in bet diminish to the lowest chip count since he was the third to bet? or does the 1st and 2nd chip leaders automatically have a side bet?
If you could please let us know, that would be great

1st and 2nd have a side bet. If 3rd wins he can only win three times his amount of chips.
For example:
Person 1: 100 chips
Person 2: 75 chips
Person 3: 50 chips
Person 1 bets 75 to put Person 2 all-in. Person three calls.
Main pot = 150 Person 1, 2 or 3 can win
Side pot = 50 Person 1 and 2 can only win
make sense?
