It has been brought to my attention that someone signed up to the forum today and then PMed one of our long time members soliciting for money into an online poker account. The offender has been handed a permanent ban but this seems like a good time to mention reporting forum abuse.
The most obvious form of abuse is someone spamming a link to a site with affiliate links or trying to get us to use their bonus code at a site. These are dealt with swiftly 99% of the time and everyone is happy. Occasionally one will slip thru the net in which case I would appreciate a PM or email, whichever is easiest for you, with the thread URL and a brief description where required. Please do not message me if the thread is 6-12hrs old when you find it as the chances are it has been reported already but if it's less than an hour or more than a day old, feel free to give me a nudge to deal with it!
The worst type of spam is via the PM system since I have no way of detecting it. Please do report all PM spam to me ASAP by copying and pasting the message and providing the offenders login name. These people will receive no warning, they will simply be banned permanently for this offence.
Don't forget that you can also contact Adam Marshall or Carson Cashman (#1 and #6 on the member list) who are the two site admins. It is best to come to me first as they are busy people but if it's between about 7pm EST and 5am EST, starting with them may be best as I am most likely asleep!

ive got a bonus code to spread around but it in no way benefits me personally.
i got IT at a live charity tournament that partypoker sponsored that me and a bunch of the guys in my frat went to. it was a very cool event.
you get an instant $50 signup bonus, not the usual $25 - i think it had something to do with the charity but im not sure.
anyway, i want to respect ur forum and abide by ur rules so pls let me know if i can post it here because im sure ur guys will like it.

this guy was IM'ing me for like two weeks str8. he must have like 12 IM accounts. i finnaly was able to block all of them and haven't heard from him sense... but boy was he persistant!

This guy was PMing the entire forum with bonus codes and solicitations for money
We don't allow either of these practices - or links in sigs - simply because it is a lot of work to evaluate them on a case by case basis. If you have a personal site, a blog, a favorite link, that sort of thing, you have a "WWW" button you may use for that.
You may appeal this process exactly ONE and ONLY ONE way. It's a four step process.
1- be an attractive, freaky, promiscuous pyschobilly girl between the ages of 21-35. You must like Mike Ness and Lars Frederiksen and the old misfits and HATE creed, morrisey, and the old misfits. 2. Put up a website where you GIVE AWAY nude pictures of yourself.

Surprisingly, I only got one PM with spam within the 2 months that I´ve been here. Well done, moderators. I mean it. It´s just fantastic. I´ve already got like 6 on one of the forums I am a member of.
