All right well...I just won a tournament (play money but still feels like an accomplishment) 500 + 10 buyin limit, and I saw some ridiculous hands. To begin I basically doubled up when I reraised the heck out of the table after I flopped a full boat with my AK, I was off to a great start. Then I found myself around 1600 when I flopped top and bottom pair and raised all the way down until the river, where the guy folded. In this short period I had already seen 4 dueces, 2 full houses, and a straight flush. And we had played, um...10 or so hands, it was crazy no doubt. I took a big hit when I turned the AQXXX flush, and was beaten by a full boat on the river. I was a little aggravated but I knew I still could easily win with 700. Somehow I battled my way up to 3000 and I could easily pick up blinds and get heads up with a 2-1 chip lead over the other guy. Then I had something revolutionary happen to me...Royal flush. I sit on AQs on the button, the blinds are huge so I limp in hoping the other guy will too. Thankfully he does, and the flop is insane. Three diamonds, giving me two outs (K and 9) to make a straight flush. I think it was 8 10 Jd. I believe I slow played it and check and called on the flop. On the turn the beautiful king came and I didn't really flinch or anything I just knew I had won this tournament. He bet out again and I raised him back, unfortunately the didn't call so I could show my Royal, but on the next hand he went all in with 600 (to my 7000 or so) and I called with K6, make Queens full of 6s and finally won one of those things.
