I need help with determining the winner of the following:

Community Cards are:

Q , 5, 6, 7, A

Player 1 has: A, 5 (TWO PAIRS)

Player 2 has: Q, 7 (TWO PAIRS)

Who wins this hand???

HIghest pair is the one you count when both players have two pair. Second pair is a tie breaker. If both pairs are identical, then the next highest card decides it. If the board looks like this

A569T
1) has A5 and
2) has A5

then it is a split pot because BOTH players have AA55T
If the board is

A556K
1) has AQ
2) has A3

It's still a split pot because BOTH players have AA55K and you ONLY play the best 5 cards.

highest pair is aces, so player 1 wins.
