Pit Boss Chips from MC Sports

I bought these a month ago. I love them. 11.5g weighted. Decent design, Striped with some dice type design on them. Nice case, came with two decks of B & W cards (decent). Key lock & all. I bought two of the 300 chip cases for 70 or 80 a piece. What do you think of these for beginner chips?

They're fine. I don't think anyone here will be excited about them, but don't let that affect your enjoyment of them. Those are generic dice chips, what most people get these days as their first set. You got an OK but not great price. Most people here are into casino-style, casino-quality or even actual casino chips that cost a buck or more each, poke around a little and check them out.

for beginner chips they're good, but nothing to get all excited about.

I've noticed these chips for about $20 less online. I'm mad. Ha! These are my first set of chips and I'm happy at that. I was using Hoyle plastics before this. These got me serious about poker. There's no way in hell I could afford anything better right now. I'm going to start charging players $1 every time we play with my chips. I've got to pay these off! Does this seem fine? Charging to cover the chip cost?

Yikes. Here are the same chips (I think) for $30 less http://www.niagarapokersupply.com/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=32

I think those dice chips are now more common than bicycle plastic chips. Any chips are better than none though. Myself being as anal as I am with stuff like this, just don't like dice on my Poker chips.
