A perfect situation

Had to relate this one. I'm playing in the pink chip game at the Trop last night ($7.50/$15.00), and I get 99 in late position. 3 callers to me already, so I limp, button and SB fold and BB checks. I'm just hoping to see the flop cheaply...

...9c4c4h...

BB checks, and I'm beginning to wonder how I can play this. I didn't have to think too long because the next player bets and then gets raised immediately to his left. Third player calls two cold. I smooth call hoping the BB has something worth two bets, and he calls.

Turn is Kh.

I really really love my hand right now. Flush draws in two suits, and inside straight draws possible in an already big pot. Check to the flop raiser who bets, and we call all around.

River is Qc. BB leads out and bets, and all three players call to me. I raise of course, and this collective *GASP* goes up from the table. Laughing I get called all around and then flip over my boat. The BB had the A-high flush, UTG had K-high flush, and the next two players each had one of the remaining 4's. They were all drawing practically dead on the flop. The dealer had to push my pot to me in 3 parts.

On a sad note, my pocket kings have now been cracked 5 consecutive times. I'm keeping a running total.

can there be a better feeling in poker than flopping a boat?
well, other than having people raise into you when you flop a boat Laughing

Also the pocket K's getting cracked, i can't be sure, but a while back i felt like i went thru 20 pKK's without winning. And that was in NL!

Got them once last night and lost to an A7 when he drew out to a straight. Dragging that $300+ pot took away the sting though. :D

I think he was talking to the both of us, and we were both telling him to go all-in, but he took so long doing so that he ran out of time and was auto-folded :D

That reminds me of my Q 10 against AA last time I played a 8/16 live game. Board came up QQQ96. Lots of chips came my way, but not enough to salvage an evening full of bad beats.
