Was browsing eBay for a chip set to get my little brother in Mississippi with his grandma and came across this intresting little bit.
It was intresting to me be cause if it wasn't for the dice, this chip style would be something I woul like for my own game, be cause lets face it. the Pro Tech are cool and all but they do wear out after a while.
To tell you the truth I wish I could make my own chips, with my own mold, and with inlays rather then hot stamping. oh well.
If any one knows of a way for this type of prossess or any other resouces that would be great, but for now, I'de just thought I'd show you guys an intresting picture I had found...

Yeah, I think they would be better w/o the metal insert, but then they might be so light that they would blow away if there is a breeze...
I still want to get some and magnetize them! They'd look cool on my fridge.

Buwahahaha... Now we're talking. and when stacking them you can do cool chips trick with opposing forces when turned so that north faces north.
I'de probly do what the poker chip Company does and core them with a ceramic disk instead of a metal one, and do away with the ungodly, ill-manered, and just plain ugly dice and keep the spots. but thats just me.
good idea Wulf
