Say you have QQ in middle position in a NL game. no callers to you and you raise 3-4x the blind. Two callers two callers in late position. The flop comes with an Ace or a King. What would you do?
In my opinion, you have to bet to make sure they paired the overcard. I would make the same pre-flop bet on the flop again. If I get a caller, I'll most likely check it all the way down or fold to any turn/river bet. Unless I think I can take it down with another bet on the turn or river. Correct?

There are too many variables. From what you've said so far, I'd think either (a) you were trapping with a huge hand, or (b) you were betting for information, all depending on how much I respected you. If I didn't know anything about you, I'd put you on an info bet, and come back at you hard no matter what I had.
If you're playing against fish, betting for information is a waste, because they'll just call you down. Against decent players it's a good strategy, but against good players, it is really transparent. Either check or represent a hand. The only time I pair an ace on the flop against good players and bet just 1/4 of the pot is when i have another one for a kicker, and I think I can fool my them into thinking I'm betting for info. If you think you can fool your opponents into thinking you have bullets, then go ahead and act like you're betting for info, hoping they'll see through your pseudo-weak play and fold. If not, represent AK or check-fold.

It very much depends on the way the rest of the board looks, player reads, stack sizes, etc.
If the board is raggedy but has a K, fire away. If the board is very coordinated and you think somebody got a piece, get the hell out. Overpairs are bad enough out of position: second or third pair hands are death.
I tend to think a bet is often a good idea, but with two callers, it looks less solid. Make it 3 or 4, and I think you pretty much have to just surrender now and only give up the 4BBs or so you bet preflop, as opposed to losing any more.
