Ok this came up twice in tonights game and was curious how it should be handled.
5 people on the table
A B C D E
B is dealer
C is small blind
D is big blind
C gets knocked out
Now its
A B D E
how how would the blinds go since D would be next to be small.
We played it
D is dealer
E is small blind
A is big blind
but there was an arguement that E and D shouldnt skip a blind and that they should be what they were supposed to be if C never got knocked out. and have someone deal in place of C so the blinds dont skip anyone
I hope thats clear to understand.

There's a lot of ways to do it - you should agree on one before the game starts.
I recommend simply skipping the blind that would be the knocked out player, and stipulating that if the BB would be skipped, the minimum bet is still the BB...that's what most games I play in do, and it seems to work awright. . . what do those big things with the lights, ahm....casinos...what do casinos do?
