Hi, has anyone placed an order for a set of their custom made chips? I am looking into getting a set and would like your opinions about their service and product. I am looking to get a set of custom chipcos and they have the best price for them.
Any help/info would be greatly appreciated.
David
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

I did once. You thinking about putting a logo on yours? anyways, I found them to be pretty straight up. I got my chips pretty much the time they said they would be here. in fact i got them a few days early... their not bad chips.

Thanks for the info. Did you get a custom design on your chips? I am thinking of putting some sort of logo on it. Do you have pictures of your chips by any chance? Also how long did it take for your order? Thanks again.

...broken record "chips without pics are worthless"...
David,
You might want to check out this thread...
HPC vs Chipstore
Also, for custom pics....
Customs
Might peruse the forum too as there as been some disucssion on the Chipco dealers.
I went with Homepokerchips.com and their service has been excellent to date... chips are due to ship in early Decemeber. I highly recommend Patrick their graphic artist as he was extremely helpful in working with my design. I'll post pics when they arrive.
I too was concerned about cost and almost went with TPC but I wanted denoms & chip colors to change (not just the wrap) with each chip so HPC was the cheapest for me.
Hope that helps & feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.

FYI - HPC = homepokerchips.com & TPC= thechipstore.com ... just thought I should clarify as I just noticed some folks use HPC for holdempokerchips.com, an excellent chip resource but not a custom supplier though MSPatton & Jeremy have a group buy on Chipcos's - suit theme & no denoms which you might want to check out if you haven't already maybe able to still get in for $0.86/chip.

I agree -- probably not a good idea to go through Chipstore unless you submit all your own graphics. Read that other thread linked above for full story. I canceled an order with Chipstore, wasn't impressed by Dan's clipart and seemed to be no artist on staff.
