I've starting changing the title and taking PM privs away from all first offenders. . . it would almost be cool if we had a "jail" script . . . something that changed title and avatar to say, spammer and a pic of spam and took away the ability to post hyperllinks and '@' symbols...I'm also going to step up reporting affiliation abuse to the target sites...a disclaimer or warning to that effect, that not only will we ban and harass you for spamming, we will also *tell on you,* while it makes me feel like a big tattler, might help as well...just thinking out loud...er...typing out loud? (something's still wrong with that but I'm quitting up)
