earlier today i had a very interesting conversation over bold chat with someone from 5star. he said that they are getting paulson chips in in 2 months. he said they will have a center label with denominations and edge spots.
and no this isnt spam(ive been reading here almost everyday for 2 months now and see how vicious this can get)
too bad i just purchased my 1000 nexgen 8000's, although the paulsons will be much more expensive

he also said that they will no longer be getting any new designs from the blue chip company because of their "bad business practices"

i only have samples, ups says the delivery is scheduled for tomorrow so we'll see. i will post when i get them.

blue chip is an inferior chip anyways. good to hear they will get paulsons and hopefully at a reasonable price. i refuse to pay anything more than $1 per chip.

hey chris i just recieved my nexgens and the chips look even better stacked. however the case already broke in the process of loading my chips into the case, carrying it down the stairs and uploading them on my table in the basement. pitiful quality. just as people advertise chips as "real clay" they advertised the case as "aluminum" when the inner structure is grayish silver plastic. very disapointed, but i guess its better that it broke now because i can return it

2 months as in 'January'? Are they top hat and cane molds? Just generic denoms with no cheesy casino name on them? Did he give you a price?

he didnt give me price, i dont know about the mold and i dont know if it will be a fantasy name or not. just go to 5star's bold chat and ask, they answered all of my questions.
about january, the 25% off sale will still be going on till the 28th of that month so that would probably bring them down to 80 cents a piece depending on the list price and number you order. however, they will probably wait till the sales over to release them to screw everyone who wants paulson chips of their money.
but thats just my two cents

PaulSon and not TH&C, it's like m&m's without that thin candy shell. I am always amazed at what people pay for PaulSon chips, even though I collect them. $1 a chip? I can see doing that, I guess, for something with collector value. But I just bought 100 beautiful PaulSon's for $50 this weekend.
Went into the Ameristar Casino in St.Charles, MO, plunked down two 20's and a 10 and they gave me a rack of 50 cent TH&C chips. Put them all (with the rack!!!!) in my coatpocket and walked out. Now they made money, we know that; and PaulSon made money selling them to Ameristar. There's something wrong-headed about paying $1 a chip, it seems to me, even though I've done it.

the bold chat icon is on the left column at the bottom of 5stardeal.com
you will have to chat during hours when they are open which is 9-5 mon-fri.
