I actaully saw one the other day at a Wal-Mart. It was OK, surely better than the foldout table top octagons out there. I though it was a bit overpriced, a good deal for $50 but $80 I don't know. If you have marginal skills and $150 you can make a real nice 10 person oval.

For $80 did you notice it came with a 300 chips set (11.5g dice), dealer button, and a pack of WPT cards?

In my opinion, it looks rather flimsy and small. It appears that it sits about 4-6 people and something about those legs.

That's just what it looks like from the picture, but you would probably get what you pay for with a table, chips, and cards costing 80 dollars. For he poker player on the budget, this is probably not a bad substitute though.

With things like chips and tables, from my experience it is better to bite the bullet and get what you truly want in the beginning. If you want a nice table, don't buy a cheap table because chances are that you will continuosly upgrade until you have the table you always wanted, but have spent more by gradually getting there...Same thing with chips.

It appears to come with 200 chips (nothing to put them in) but it looks like it'll fall over when someone sneezes. I'd check it out in person before ordering one to see if it's at all sturdy.

You're right. No Walmart around here has it in "yet." I'm definitely on a budget and something portable for under $100 would be nice. Any suggestions are gladly welcomed.

I'm getting the impression you want an actual table - not just a folding top. Did you check eBay?

Laughing But now I'm cracking up because when I clicked on the link you posted, Walmart thought I might also be interested in this http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=3138995&cat=162709&type=5&dept=4171&path=0%3A4171%3A4191%3A162709&xsell=3342147
I think that might be the cheesiest thing I've ever seen. Does Caesar's even have a poker room?

There were a few threads discussing table tops within the last month or two on this forum. If I were you I would click search at the top or scroll through looking for topics a couple pages back to see because I know there was a good topic for tables/tabletops.

If you could come up with around 150 dollars there were some pictures of a very nice table top floating around on this board somewhere.

Another options is to make a table top....My first table, which is still in good shape, was a piece of plywood cut into an oval, covered with velveteen, and I used swimming pool noodles cut in half and wrapped with vinyl for the railing. Worked perfect and looked nice too, a lot of friends commented that they wanted me to build one for them....Total cost was a little under $80.00.....not bad..
