Poker TV Show Tackles the Issue of Online Poker and the Law
Is it legal to play online poker?
Las Vegas, NV -- November 22, 2004 -- Everyday thousands of poker players log on to online sites and test their skills against players from around the world. Meanwhile, legislators in Washington are working day and night to make this activity against the law.
In their latest episode, the streaming poker TV show "Poker Updates" examines the governments attempt to disallow advertising and eventually place a prohibition on all Internet gaming, including online poker.
Emotions flaired when producer and host Eric Rosenberg posed the issue to top industry leaders. "This is a very important topic. It was no surprise to me to see many of the biggest names in the business get fired up about it", said Rosenberg.
Featured in the story are World Series of Poker Media Director Nolan Dala, World Poker Tour Host Mike Sexton, Professional Poker Player Annie Duke, and more.
The show can be seen in its entirety at www.PokerUpdates.com.

In Washington State it is already illegal. In fact I've heard of a couple of casino employees that have been stripped of their gambling liscence for gambling on the internet.
