I love the real Bud Jones inlay chips. I got a sample of the Murphy's card room chips which retail for like $1.35 per chip!! They felt like absolute garbage, heavy in the centre, light on the outside. No good at all

It looks like the latest batch of chips out of China. Pokernstuff has them with denominations.

They are the latest Chinese chips. My guy in China sent me a picture of those ones above with the denominations and I was psyched (perhaps I'm a sucker for purple). Anyway, I asked for a sample and it's garbage Sad . No way it's 11.5g. I can weigh it, but I don't have to. It feels like a piece of tin and it's really plasticy on the edges. Oh well.

As a point of clairifacation.......
The Murphy's chips are not the same chip as being referenced here.
They are not made in China, the metal coin is made out of steel which
gives the chip a weight of approx. 12.5g as opposed to the "tin" center
on the chips coming from China which weigh much less than this.
The Murphy's chips are manufacturered by an actual company that makes
chips for many casino's in Europe and Asia. Bud Jones they are not, but
they are no where near the cheap quality of the stuff showing up from
China.

Yes, this is very funny because the name of the chips sent to me from China was "stainless steel Las Vegas chip". Something must have been lost in translation because the chip I received was more like "aluminum foil Las Vegas Chip". No offense to them. The Chinese factories do produce some nice composites for the price - but I have to give these 2 thumbs down.

I think they look nice. Even though I dont normally like the metal inlay chips.

You usually get what you pay for. These are .05/chip...

If they don't fall apart and you like them, good deal.

Patton has spoken.

Smile

Fact is there isn't a soul here who knows as much about chips as this guy.

Why do you think ebay's a hassle? I've bought over 3500 chips on ebay and never had a problem except with Spinnettis.

Ebays not a real hassle like that but it's hard to get a low price and win a auction with everyone bidding at the last second.... and does anyone know where to get the spade inlay chips or these chips?? thanks
