Definitely Lee Jones's "Winning Low Limit Hold'em"

Then after reading it, David Sklansky's "Holdem for Advanced Players"

I assume you're talkin about fixed limit and not no limit

Isn't HFAP aimed at middle limit-high limit games rather than low limit, Scan?

I have not long finished reading it and the plays that he mentions are absolutely top drawer, but a lot I couldn't see working in low limit games.

I would also throw in Internet Texas Hold'em by Matt Hilger, because that taught me a lot as well.

Sklansky and Malmuth just put out a low limit book that might be better tuned for your game.

Not a big fan of Lee Jones's book. Found it to be a re-hash of things I already knew. In fact, I haven't gotten much from reading poker books at all. They all seem to either state the obvious (e.g., don't chase a gut-shot unless the pot is big and the flop is rainbow, unless you have two overcards, in which case it might be o.k. to chase with a two suited flop if the pot is really big), or say something that is entirely dependent on something I don't know (e.g. go ahead and raise with second pair if you think your opponent is betting a draw. My opponent will see the flop with any ace or and most suited cards, and he'll bet with top pair or a flush draw. How the hell am I supposed to know which one he has? They don't tell you how to figure that out).

For the price of three poker books, you can buy Wilson's Turbo Texas Holdem. Take their stategy, and tighten it a notch or two, and I think you'll be better off than you would be if you bought 3 poker books.
