Split Pots

Posted Mon Nov 29, 2004 9:35 am GMT by Mumbles527
My friends and I often play Omaha 8's or better in our home games, so we often run into split pots. If a chip of the smallest denomination remains and the pot can't be evenly split, who gets the extra chip? We usually just leave it in the pot for the next hand. Does it go to the person to the left of the button, or to the last aggressor?

In high low-doesnt the high hand get the extra? I dont know about how it really works, that is just the way we have played in home games.

Extra chip goes to the high hand in hi-lo... but if the high side or lo side are split it goes left of the button(worst position).

But really, in a home game you can do what you like Smile as long as the house rules are set ahead of time.
