I know this is a Hold 'em forum, but I need some help with razz. I sat down at a .25/.50 table on full tilt last night (they just started razz and stud hi/low ring games) and realized after like 15 mins that I lost most of what I sat down with. I didn't even realize I was losing most of it. Does anyone have some basic advice about Razz? I know the rules of the game, but never know what starting hands are worth playing. Thanks for any help.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Razz changes with every card, it's so hard and so frustrating, my advice would be not to bother! However, if you must play, a good starting hand is 8 high or better (lower) but beyond that, I am pretty clueless. I've really been no help, sorry

I have no idea how to play razz really, I watched it on TV for like an hr think i have it down but there is no way i woudl put more then 5 dollars down on a game, and i know that 5 dollars would just be a learning experience lol. What I do when I want to try something different from the usuall holdem I pull out the ol' Super System and take a look at the other games besides holdem.
