We've been playing (for fun) using 5 of any of the cards shown (including the pocket cards).
Do you HAVE to use the 2 cards in your hand?
In other words, can I make a flush out of my hand of Qd Ts with a variety of diamonds on the table? Or does my Ts ruin my chances of a flush?
Thanks in advance for the help.

In Texas Hold'Em, you're not required to use any of the cards in your hand. If the five best cards are those on the board, then you're permitted to play that as your hand.
In Omaha Hold 'Em, you are required to use exactly 2 of your 4 hole cards to make your hand.

Thanks for your reply.
From your reply, it made me have another question.
Since we do play Texas Hold'em, if 2 players have a flush with King high (the king being on the table), does that mean the pot splits?
Or does the player holding the highest card in their pocket win the hand?
Also, if there is a flush on the table, and both players gamble off that, who would win the hand? The one with the highest card in their hand?
Thanks for your help.
