The question is in the header.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

I'm sure i already saw you posted something similiar to this, i read something anyway, no-one answered huh?
I left it cos i wasn't 100% sure and hoped someone else with more experience would respond.
you mean if the bb is all in for less than the bb are you allowed to complete the bet?
i'm sure the answer is not only yes, but also that you may still raise.
Please feel free to contradict if you know better.

If you mean blinds are 8000/4000 and big blind is all in for 5500, you must call 8000 (or go all in for less) if you want to call. If you want to raise, the min is 16000.
I had this happen to me, I was all in at a final table in a live $100 limit game for 5000, the small blind was all in for 3000 w/ blinds of 4000/8000. Someone w/ headphone on and about 14k put out 5k. The dealer stopped and when he pulled his headphones off and realized he had to complete the 8k blind, he asked if he could take his bet back, they said that he HAD to complete the bet. So he did. I made 2 pair, he flopped trips. I was out, instead of winning the hand and having enough to see 7 more hands w/ 3-4 players being all in on their blinds.
