Tell me what you think of these chips...

My budget is at about $150. I was looking at 5stardeals and looked at a few of the chips some of you suggested, among others. What do you think of these chips?

And also how many of each do you think I should get. Thinking of doing 10-15 person tourny with 1000 in chips each. Thanks again Smile

If you're looking to play tournaments, I wouldn't get these chips with values on them.

If you have to get striped dice chips, they do carry them and you'll save yourself .11 per chip without the hotstamp

But you'll probably be getting a better chip with
http://www.5stardeal.com/deals/10Expand.asp?ProductCode=10-1600 if you can live without the edgespots and you'll save yourself a bundle, being able to get them at a net price of .06 with the current 25% off promotion.

BTW, you'll probably get hit with their maximum shipping of $19.95 for 500 or a 1000 chips, so if there's anything else that you want to get there, you may as well get them at the same time and save on the shipping, as their shipping charges tend to be pretty high.

Im definately not a fan of the hotstamping on the dice chips. It looks cheap. I would go with the plain chip over the hot stamped ones.

Ok, Im taking you advice and going with the ones that are $.06 a chip. You are right, that those will work just fine, and the striped ones just look better.

Chipsandgames.com has a set of 1000 on sale and is in your price range. Doesn't look to shabby, either.
