Marking Color Number
$5 red 500
$25 green 400
$100 black 300
$500 purple 200
$1,000 yellow 100
none white 300
none blue 200
I figure leave the white / blue without marking for flexibility.
For a 2000 chip set for fundraising tourneys... I want people to have some chips and for there to be opportunities to color up.
I'm getting pretty inexpensive chips then having them hotstamped with event stamp (or initials) and denoms... Think 5star would let me do a custom stamp for one side of the set (and both sides of the non-denom chips).

How many people are you expecting at these tourneys?

I'm not really sure how many people.
The organization has 1000+ members so I think getting people out in groups of 27 shouldn't be too tough.
My thought is that if I have too many chips, I can break up the tourney set into chunks to sell to the members with proceeds heading to the charity. Heck, I guess I can do that anyhow. Just make sure I've got some differentiation between the ones that get sold and the ones retained for tourney use so we don't get any of these goofs sliding in chips. (For money, they might not do it... for bragging rights or to clown they might)
