Great mag, also available online (in advance even, the 12/17 issue is up online now) and my local cardroom hands 'em out. Nice to have it delivered though so long as the spam isn't too thick, have to make a nice spam alias for them LOL.

it generally takes less than 10 weeks to get subscriptions for magazines, so I think if we dont get the Feb issue soon...........

The link is no longer valid. It didnt last much past the original post if I remember correctly.
Im sure the link mentioned, "sometime in Janurary" so we still have plenty of time before we start to worry. Come mid Feburary, Ill start to do my worrying.

Nope... I didn't get mine yet either. There's a link on the site now saying free subscription when you open an account in the poker room. So... hopefully that link we used was legit.

I've got no reason to believe that it wasn't. Chances are, they were overwhelmed with requests and very few new accounts and had to alter the promotion to get people to actually play on their site. Marketing campaigns go awry all the time. I remember one insurance/technology conference my company was attending where I had to work the exhibit booth, and one of the other exhibiting companies had the great idea of raffling off a BMW Z3. Well...there were only a few hundred attendees at the conference, and a quarter of those were vendors who were ineligible. Turns out you would've had something like a 1-100 chance of winning the car.
I'm pretty sure someone lost their job over that.

I've signed up for free promotional subscriptions beforeand almost all of them stay true to their word. I never noticed an increase in spam either.

3 months is only 3 issues, right?? That's a stone-cold joke. You can call the cust service # for any magazine and ask for a 3-month trial subscription and they'll gladly give you one.
The deal was supposed to be a free ONE-YEAR subscription. Just another example of: "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is."

Or biweekly. There's this weird thing where biweekly as an adjective could mean either twice a week, or every two weeks. Biweekly as a noun means, specifically, a publication that is published every two weeks.

Hi all. New to the forum, but I did pick up a copy of ALL IN. The content was great, but sparce, if you know what I mean. I guess it'll take some time to 'beef it up', so to speak. I would imagine this is true of most periodicals when they first hit the newsstands. I enjoyed the strategy tips quite a bit, as well as the hand analysis of some of the pro games from last year. I'm sure it will get even better if there is enough support shown for the publication...

Still trying to understand why there is so much excitement over 3 free issues?!? Whether they are monthly, weekly, bi-weekly, whatever, the deal was that we were going to get a ONE YEAR subscription for free.
They surreptitiously reduce it to 3 issues and you guys don't seem fazed by that. I think it's completely bullshit. Do you guys realize that you can call or write to any magazine worth it's salt and get 3 free issues just for asking? The cost for them to send you 3 issues is well-worth getting your name and address to sell to mail spammers and keep on pressing you to subscribe.
All we ended up getting was the same deal that is available to anyone. Big deal.

Let's see... if a one-year sub is valued at $39.95, then discounted for the three months you are receiving, you've all been swindled of the $29.96 value of 9 months of this magazine.
Since the surrender of your personal identifying information is sufficient to constitute valid consideration for a binding contract, and they haven't performed EXACTLY as offered in their promotion, I SMELL A SUIT!!!
False advertisement, fraud, breach of contract... any of those have general damage awards? Attorney's fees? Court costs? TREBLE DAMAGES?? We could be talking millions!
Please realize that this is in jest, and if you are so bored as to pursue it, be aware that the Federal Courts are gonna bounce you out on your ears. Send me a copy of the trial court's Written Reasons for Judgment when you're kicked out for No Cause of Action.

I got my 2nd issue in the mail yesterday. Does anyone know if the subscription issue(s) has more pages than the free issues given away at card clubs, etc.? I must have tossed the Gus Hansen issue that I picked up at a poker room. I just don't recall that the free issues were this thick.
