At my home game last night I noticed that both of my decks of KEM cards were bending in a slight U shape when lying flat in a stack. I assume it is from repetitive shuffling but I thought they would stay straight.
These are my first and only decks that I bought from Kardwell about 4-5 months ago (don't know what took me so long) and was just curious as to if this has happened to anyone else.
They have been used about once a week for 4 hour home games since I have purchased.
Has anyone else experienced this and is there any way to correct it?? Might just have to try some Copag's from MSPatton.
Thanks a lot

they are not indestructable. So I could see them bending over time. I purchased a set of Kems 3 months ago and have yet to have any problem with them.

So info on care of KEMS
RE: Storage and Care of KEM Plastic Playing Cards
Dear KEM Card Customer,
We are writing this memo to advise you of the proper storage procedure for KEM Cards. Due to varying temperatures and humidity levels throughout the country, we have at times been advised by customers that they have experienced warping of the top card in the deck one the cards are opened and use.
To combat and eliminate this possibility, we advise the following procedures:
1.) Store cards in stable non fluctuating temperature.
2.) Ideal temperature for storage is 68 - 72 degrees.
3.) When returning cards to box after use, place a joker on top of each deck, along with a cut piece of cardboard or masonite. This will prevent the warpage that can occur.
When cleaning KEM Cards - we recommend using luke warm water and Dawn dishwater detergent. Add a few drops of vinegar to the solution. Pat dry immediately after washing. Do not apply powder to the cards.

I have a couple decks of casino club design Kem's from a few years back that do have a slight bow to them. I'm not sure if there is anyway to fix them, it's not terribly bad, still very playable. I have about four other decks of Kem's and none of them have any bow to them though, don't know why, I never stored any of them any different than the others.

My bending is also nothing that is unplayable but I would definately rather have them all be straight if possible. Thanks of all of the replies.
Dabear...Thanks for posting that, just came across that a few hours ago after running a search and I have already cut some card-sized cardboard rectangles to place on top for storage. Hopefully that will help...I also shuffled them upside down about 30 times a piece.
This wouldn't bother most but I weird about having things perfect for some reason...You'll find me using a sticky lint roller on my table before and after every home game use...I have problems....
Thanks again.

Yup, I have a double deck of the red and blue club Kems and they are also a bit warped. Mine were actually sitting in the trunk of my car all summer, so that probably did it to them.
